Carl,

my understanding is the chips work in either Lowrance or Humminbird. I was glad to hear that so I can take mine out of my X series Lowrance units and put it in my new Humminbird 798.

Your are correct Rob. The only reason I stated Humminbird, is that on other forums and posts someone always seems to ask "Humminbird or Lowrance". I recently bought a used Navionics Premium N3 North Card that was advertised as being used on a Lowrance.
