I have an 06 Nitro 482 w/Mercury 150 Optimax. I love the boat but my warranty has ran out and my Master Swith has gone on the blink. I tried replacing the switch, checked the power from both red and red and white cables to the switch and checked all the fuses. This switch runs both LCRs in dash and bow mount plus bilge, aerator, and nav lights. Any help in this matter would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dee

Welcome aboard.

When you checked the power to the switch, was it 12vdc? I ask cuz you didn't say what it was.

Check your main battery connections. Even if they look ok, remove them and clean the battery connections and cable ends. Inspect the battery cables closely. DC circuits have a way of creating corrosion at the terminal and under the insulation.

You can always run a fused temporary wire from the battery to the switch and see if everything works.

Good luck.
