What Gauge???

I have a 2001 TV-18 and I am going to change out my 12v MG for a 24V TM. I know that my boat is wired for 24v but is the existing wire gauge heavy enough or will I have to pull new wire? Any help is appreciated !

I asked the same question when I bought our boat. You're fine to switch to a 24V motor with the existing wiring. You'll need a new plug for the pedal cord, but I have one so I can even give you any numbers off of it.
