Trophy Plus - Flat Tab Anode?

Just got a Trophy Plus 21 prop & on the box it says flat tab anode required & gives a part #. I am guessing the prop might hit the tab on the motor. Any info is appreciated.

It depends on the motor, but it cannot hurt unless you need the tab for steering torque compensation...follow the instructions...........

My motor is a 1997 Mercury 75 HP.

I just put a new prop on my boat too (Thanks to BobB :wub: ) and I had to remove the trim tab..don't need it now anyway with the hydra. steering, but I do need to replace it with the flat one...it acts as another anode I'm told!
