You been to Choke lately? We have a tournament there next week. This will be my first time on the water since the heart valve replacement in march.

Two weeks ago. Caught a bunch of dinks and barely legal bass on the back side pocket of south shore ramp ( where the small ramp is) on topwater poppers first thing in the morning. After the sun came out and the black clouds moved on, the fishing shut down. Talked to many others that day who were having the same luck as I was. Found plenty of nice submerged grass in 4 fingers, but didn't get a single tap in it. Pulled out to some deeper submerged pilings to play with my Stucture Scan, but didn't see (or catch) any fish there. Sorry I'm not much help.
