Transducer Set-up for Maxxum Minn Kota

Hello, need some advice. Purchased a hummingbird 898c HD SI and want to mount bow. Got a transducer shield for it, the TM-HDsi. The Maxxum head is not very long to the skig and the transducer shield won't fit right. Does anyone have this set-up? How did you mount a side scan transducer to this trolling motor. If transducer shield doesn't make another bracket for this trolling motor need a good idea how to mount on trolling motor.

Humminbird sells the trolling motor mounting hardware for your unit. I would think it would fit on any trolling motor but a call to Humminbird might help

Have you contacted Scap at Transducer Shield and Saver????

He has a solution to most mount issues.



The Humminbird trolling motor adaptor is very weak at best.
