Trailer Tire Pressure

There has been a lot of talk lately about the proper tire pressures. My tires on the sidewall say the maximum tire pressure should be 50 lbs psi. Is this the normal tire pressure or the maximum tire pressure?

max pressure is 50 psi.depending on the size and weight of your boat run then around 45-50 psi.i run mine at 50,but i run bridgestone radials.
