tandem axle trailer noise in cornerning

I have a 1999 nitro 896 savage with the tandem axle trailer. I hear a popping sound when I go around 90 degree corners while pulling the boat. Do any of you have this same experience. Also how likely is it that the bushings in each end of the leaf springs are in need of replacement , mine seem to be looser than I would anticpate they would be.

Could this be just the tire dragging? With both sets of tires so close together sharp turning radius sometimes pivot the wheel around instead of rolling smoothly.

Check to make sure your safety chain is not in a bind when you go 90 degrees, I have had that happen before when cutting it tight if they are too short. Or they may be hitting the hitch when you are at 90.
