My T/M fuse holder, located at the battery, got so hot it melted the fuse holder. I can replace this easy but any ideas why this would get this hot. I was using it almost constatly on an electric motor only lake. It also had a 40 apm fuse, is this correct?

Thanks, Rick in Mobile

wire a circut breaker in there,a manual reset type though.

Mine did the same the frist day i got it.The dealer replace it with a much bigger wire and fuse.No more problem.40 amp is what is in mine.I think why they burn out at the holder is because of the connection that is made at the fuse.Any conection will get hotter then just a wire.If they do not fit good it will be even hotter.
