New 6.300 or 6.310 software for some older Humminbird units

There has been a new round of software updates for some of the older Humminbird units. Here is a list of the units that have so far received updates. There may be others added over the next few weeks; so be sure to check your Humminbird account at least once a month.

Greg just bought a used 2005 Nitro lx with a Matrix 17 on it. Don't know if it has any updates? or if you can even apply updates to it.

The last software update for the Matrix 17 unit was software version 3.840 which was released way back in July of 2007. There will be no more software updates for this unit.



You can update the software in that Matrix 17 if it is not running the 3.840 version. Since ir does not have an SD memory card slot you will have to use the PC Connect cable from the AS-PC2 or AS-PC3 Kit and HumminbirdPC to do this. You would still need to register your unit on the Humminbird web site or send me an email asking for the last Matrix 17 software update and I can send it back.
