Today was the first time out on the water for an extended time in my first boat (98 Lowe 180 w/90hp). Running back up the Chattahoochie I kept playing with the trim button and watching the rpm and speedo. Felt really sweet at 4875 rpm @ 40 mph. I bumped the trim button again and gained 200 more rpm. The next bump netted brought it to 5400 rpm @ 44 mph and a whole lot of bow bouncing. Was just as smooth as glass prior but each bounce was getting bigger and BIGGER. Backed off the trim and it stopped!!! Did a search on NTOWS on trim operations and found a thread by MoFish (8/03) that explained what had happened perfectly. What a wonderful site this is for folks like me to learn from. Thanks MoFish, Wendell
