I have a Pro Team 175 with a 75hp Optimax motor. What bolt hole should the top bolt on the motor mounting bracket be in. It is in the second from the top but the cavitation plate on the motor seems a little low to me. Would the motor perform better if the top bolt was in the middle hole. I have a 14 x 19p pitch aluminum prop but the motor will only turn 5200 rpm's at WOT and you can not trim the motor more than an inch or so without the boat porpoising really bad. I have switched things around as much as I can in the boat to put as much weight as possible in the front of the boat to no avail. If anyone else is running this setup or if a knowledgeable person in setting up boats can reply I would really appreciate some help.
