KEY PAD OR PUCH BUTTON START

I was wondering if anyone had ever install a push button (keypad) style ignition switch on an older boat? The ignition switch on my 2007 901cdx is going out and I can get a keypad style switch off Ebay cheaper than a new switch from Tracker, but I didn't know if the keypad switches also need some sort of a module to work or they just transfer power with a internal timer relay??

I don't know if the touch pad is compatitable, but I would check some other places on the igntion switch. You can probably find it cheaper online as well. It is not specifically a Tracker product.
