How to open fuse box

I have a 2018 Nitro Z19. I've found the fuse box under the console, but I can't figure out how to take the cover off and it's making me feel pretty stoopid. The cover is clear plastic and the base part is dark (brown or black). There appear to be to "ears" holding the clear cover on, but I've tried to lightly pry the "ears" and they don't seem to move at all. What am I missing?

Post a picture so we can see the type. My cover is clear and yellow and you just have to give it a tug.

Anyone have any tips? I finally got it off last night with a large screwdriver and more force that I would like to have to use for fear of breaking it. I used the screwdriver on the "ears" to squeeze them in, but there's nothing to get leverage with.

I just grab it at the top and gently pull on it. Heck twice I found it laying on the floor.
