Haven't had the new boat out on the water yet due to weather and family obligations but I have been going over everything like checking nuts and bolts and screws making sure all is tight. Checking lube and fluids. I filled it up with fuel today and stressed over whether I would have problems starting it for the first time sense I bought it in the winter. I couldn't get the fuel bulb to firm up. I looked in the manual and saw I was supposed to have the arrow pointing upwards when squeezing the bulb. Did that and it firmed right up. I made sure the hose was hooked up and turned on so I wouldn't burn up the motor and turned the key. It started right up and just purred. I'm a happy man. Next week, we go to the lake for the first time and start the motor break in process. I can't wait.
