Charging Batteries

How often do you guys charge your Batteries during winter storage?

I have a 2 bank Minn Kota that puts 5 amps output to the Batteries.

Do you leave them on all the time or charge them every so often?

I leave mine plugged into my Guest charger all winter long.

Thanks Bruce,I did a search on the forum and found some help sorry for not doing that before I posted..

I'm gonna do as you do and check my water levels evry week end or two it's not hard to do the way Im set up.

charge mine and leave them set for five or six weeks. then charge again. do that twice during winter and nite before charge again. Good Friday I place in boat and go fishing.

Checking the water level once a month should be enough. My boat is 6 year old. I am on my 2nd set of batteries. I replaced the first set after 4 years because they were getting weak (would not give 100% during a tournament day).
