Bimini Top

I own a PT175 and thinking of getting a bimini top.Do any of you recommend a size between the 6 foot and 8 foot bimini for this size boat I have?

I bought a 6 ft and it is perfect for our use..only u should decide hiw much shade u need. Fyi if u do go 8 ft you wont be able to stand on the raised section of the stern near the motor

There are some vendors online that have good charts and suggestions about sizing and issues to consider for install and use. I purchased one several years ago in a good clearance sale with an online retailer. Empirecovers.com

Thanks for the suggestions.I had ordered one from empire a couple of weeks ago.After making the order a week later they send an email stating that they are out of stock.They won't be getting any in till mid October or mid november.

kapscomoto.com look in the "covers" section, I've ordered a few bimini's from this place they are awesome. less than 200 bucks and they are good quality and durable.

I got the 6 ft one that is 36" high.

I had ended up purchasing the 8 foot bimini from budge covers.So far,so good!!Have no complaints seems to be good quality.
