XPS Batteries

I'm looking to outfit my new boat (14' topper jon) shortly with some AGM batteries. I was wondering if anyone has been running these batteries. My boat will have a transom mount Minn Kota with 55 lbs of thrust. The only consideration that I have is that I will have to carry these batteries into my apartment since I can't leave them in the boat. What do you guys think?

I just put an XPS AGM deep-cycle battery in my boat and so far I've been happy with that decision. I also installed an Optima cranking battery.



They weight about the same as a wet cell so carrying them can be an issue. Getting them stolen would be a bigger issue.
