I currently add Seafoam every time I fuel up at a ratio of 2 oz. per gallon of gas. Is this the correct ratio or should it be cut back to 1 oz. per gallon? Is it advisable to also add additional additives to further protect a Mercury 150 Optimax Pro XS? Are any additives required when you use ethanol free gasoline?

Just to clarify your statement, when you say "nothing else" you mean no other additives such as the Merc Fuel Cleaner type products?

That's correct...IMHO.....there is nothing else needed, other than good fuel....

So Seafoam is a good additive when using E10 gas?

I use Stabil for ethanol and Quickleen...just as good?
