PROP TO PAD 2020 Z20

Can anyone tell me what measurement your running on you prop to pad! My boat came set up at 4.5 inches, and it has always felt like its plowing. I have had the engine checked and the hot foot percentage all is good. Thank You

How fast are you running? and WOT RPM?

Move it to 3.5 inches and run it then move to 3 and see how that runs. Mine is 2019 Z20 and I barely have 3"
Easily hits 60 and chine walks around 72. Good enough for me.

I moved it to 3.5, raised my talons as high as i could, borrowed the same prop just a known good one, still hard to get to 57mph and running at 5700rpm. I am running a 225hp. Iam at a loss.

Might be all you get, leave it at 3.5 and shift weight around, Are you trimming out?

I don't know what numbers you should be at with a 225. I assumed you were running a 250.
