Need some Info.

Texas boy here. I'm fixin' to get to go to that "show me state". Baring any catastrophies my son and I should qualify for "Like Father Like Son" National Championship. This year it is being held on Mark Twain Lake in Missouri. Any of you Missouri folks that are in the know, have any suggestions on a good place to stay for about a week within about 20 minutes of the lake it would be greatly appreciated. Kinda lookin' for something like a cabin with a kitchen or a kitchenett room. Going to be up there from July 29 to August 5. I'll also be asking for some help later on fishing the lake, so if anybody's got any secrets to pass on I'm all ears. Tournament dates are Aug. 3-4. KENNY
