I have a merury 2002 50 hp motor on a 2007 Pro Guide Tracker 16ft boat. I need a prop but can't figure out what to get The numbers on the prop that's on it now are C than an M then it reads F12.25X9P Can some one tell me what the numbers mean and if this is the right Prop for the boat? I just bought the motor and when it's on the Prop moves alittle front to back. The serial number on the motor is 0T436216 50 ELPTO Max RPM 5500 Any help you can give me would be appreciated

with a nine inch pitch that motor probably came off a pontoon. it is 12.25 diameter and 9 pitch

Check the Mercury web site prop selector. It may help selecting another prop.

Sure it's not a 19? Never heard of a 9Pitch on a 50:huh:

I would agree that a 9 inch prop is way too small. There is no prop chart to go by on that rig....but I would try a 12". It is a relatively heavy boat and I think that prop would put you in the ballpark. Of course, we will assume the motor is 100%.....
