I will be purchasing a new hotfoot soon. I have a 2003 Merc 150 efi, Should I get the "Universal" version?

Ok I searched, honestly I did but I confess I am new to these types of boats. I have a Nitro 640 but all my prior experience was with your typical 14 ft fishing boat.



So what is a hotfoot and what does it do?

Moves your throttle control from the gearshifter to the floor. More like a car. You use the shifter to put it in gear and then your foot to throttle. It is a safety tool. Allows you to keep 2 hands on the wheel while in operation.
