Carrier Assembly Fell Out Pulling Lower Unit On Merc Xr6 150hp? How Do You Put It Back On Bottom Of

How do you put the carrier assy back on crankshaft without pulling heads? This is like a seal for keeping oil, water, whatever out of crankshaft area and a Guide to get lower unit driveshaft splines meshed with crankshaft gears. Anyone ever have to do this? Help please! 2005 merc xr6 150hp nitro nx882.

Can't help. The most I ever had to do was water pump. Since no one has posted a reply, I'm betting at least a talk with a Merc mechanic.

You have to pull the power head and remove the carrier and install a new seal
