Sparky Anderson passed away today from complications due to dimentia,.......
He was such a GREAT baseball manager, leading the Cinci Reds and Detroit Tigers to World Series Championships! Man he was THE MAN around here in the mid 80's!! We LOVED his antic's,..his interviews, and his over the top generosity to kid's through his "CATCH" charity events. (CATCH was an acronym for "Celebrities, and Athletes Together for Children's Hospital). We just lost Ernie Harwell a couple of mos. ago,..now Sparky,...so sad!
