anyone use an Energizer Marine Battery..

Time for a new trolling motor battery so I went to Sams club where I've

purchased my batteries in the past.



Now they carry Energizer Deep Cycle Marine batteries.



Anyone here use them ? Good or bad?

I have never personally run that brand but i have run its sister brand in the past. They are made by johnson controls and are most likley a similar battery to the everstart or die hard or duralast.



Personally i have never had any long term success with a johnson controls battery in a boat. I use my trolling motor batteries pretty hard and they have not stood up for me. In my opinion there si nothign worse then a battery takes a dump at the worst possible time and wont last. Given the issues i have had in the past my opinion of them isnt too favorable.



If it was my money i would spend a little extra and get a Trojan SCS series and be done with it for 5 years.
