Whew! Just finished installing a Motorguide Tour on my 2001 ProDeepV17. Put in a Guest 2631A charger and use two optimas in series for TM. Boat was wired for 12/24 volts so I tied the two positive 8 guage together for the new positive and the same with the two negative. Put in a Marinco Connect Pro receptacle and plug.(motor does not come with a plug.) Dressed up the motor leads to the plug with shrink wrap sleeves to reinforce the plug wiring. Will try to post some pictures soon.
BTW, the two 8 guage wired together equates to one 5 guage which satisfies the recommended 6 guage wiring by the mfg.
