My 2013 Nitro Z9 with a 225 Mercury 225 just cratered the # 5 cylinder. It only had 240 hrs on it. Engine log showed no excessive RPMs (nothing over 5800) and no previous alarms or warnings. Of course it just came of warranty 4 months ago. Trying to get Mercury to cover it, but hitting road blocks. Anyone out there have a similar problem with #5 cylinder? I have checked a couple of other blogs and it does seem to be a common problem. Also, anyone put a new Merc 4 stroke yet?
