2003 cdx

i own a 2003 nitro 929 cdx with a 225 merc opti just wondering what the best prop and pitch for boat is. prop that is on now has a very sloppy take off takes forever to get on plane.

best for that rig is a 25p tempest plus set at about 3.5 inches below pad

i currently have a 25p mirage 3 blade is it worth getting a 25p tempest plus

absolutely......get rid of that mirage.....it will never be a blistering holeshot or a speedster becuase the 929s are big and heavy, but you should see a huge difference between a tempest plus and a mirage

i hate to split hairs, but the 929 i do not beleive is a CDX, th e911 is, and is the center colsole, the 929 is just that a 929...not bad, but just the way it is, i have the 911, hole shot decent with the 25 tempest and fury, the guys i know that run the 929, drop to the 24 tenpest, or a high five, hole shot is very bad on both the 929 and 901

929 should be a CDX. My 901 was a CDX and I believe all the 9 series were.
