are you really sure its hitch receiver? have you checked the fit of the hitch ball to the trailer? the trailer cup has an adjustment. if its loose it will cause a clunk. there is a nut on the bottom of the trailer hitch . it should be adjusted til there is no play.

got an onboard charger for my 95 nitro , its really handy to just plug it in after a fishing trip.

in the jumble of wireing i got hold of a previous power cord . the hook power cord has no plug and the wires are black and red . install is complete and ready for the water.

the power cord has a plug for the power which i cant use. there is nothing to indicate polarity either on the plug or wire, how can i determine correct polarity and will the unit be damaged if connected wrong? help wanting to get on the water and try this out.

i have a 95 160 . i think the older boats are much better quality construction than current models. thinking to trade up i went to bass pro and checked out a new nitro.every where i looked i saw cheaper and tackier construction.

since i have access to a sandbblaster and several paint paint sprayers i expect to do the work myself . dont plan to blast to bare metal or i would use primer designed for sandblasted metal.

after replacing relays once and still having problems i carefully examined the mounting/ground. the mount is a poor design . with a small adjustment a solid ground can be done. problem solved.

take the bearing and seals to IBT and get better quality parts.
