I made a pole that stands on my from deck out of PVC that hole the cover up. I place it just behind the front seat hole so water doesn't pool on the cover. When I did this the front deck stays dry. Not sure if this is your issue but it is a cheap attempt. I worked well for me.

I am wanting to install a MK Ultrex. I have a 08 z7. The issue I'm having is the trolling motor well isn't big enough at the rear section for the Ultrex foot control. Has anyone installed a aftermarket recessed well on the foot control. If so how did you deal with the bow panel. On these boats...
