I have a 2011 z7 with a 150 opti max 6" jack plate 24 tempest plus. I can only get 5200 to 5300 rpm at 55 mph gps.. I have heard to go to a 23pitch or have it worked. I have not done either one of these because I'm not sure it is worth the cost.

I also have a 2011 z7 with opti 150 24 tempest plus. In the middle of summer last year I could get 55 at 5300 rpm. So with a 21 tempest plus I would think you should almost be over reving it. Also I have a 6" Jack plate set to 3 inches p to p.

Have not done it yet. But plan to when the need arises. Leds are great and last a lot longer, what issues are you worried about with them?
