At first I was having some issues with it not locking down in the deployed position. I figured that since the bulk of the weight was not there, it didn't have the momentun like the old motors did to really slam down into place. I called MK and they said it probably just needs to break in. So I was slamming down with my foot to lock it and now it seems to have worn in and works fine.
As for the lift assist, it ROCKS. There is nothing to it now. And the I didn't think that going from 74 to 80lbs of thrust would be that much of a difference, but with that new prop too...man, that things moves quick. It's also super quiet.
