I have a new Z-21 with Humminbird electronics with a high speed shoot thru the hull transducer with the side imagining mounted to the jack plate, all factory installed. Here is my problem I’m having, up on plane at 35 to 45 mph I lose bottom readings ie depth. I have had it at two different dealerships and 4 different transducers glassed in and still no change, so one dealership got factory involved and the factory said upon researching and testing they don’t feel there’s any problems with the hull creating turbulence or air bubbles and that the readings are in the range they should be and this is normal. I know several other bass boat owners that run different makes but get readings at much higher speeds. So what I’m asking is this normal with a nitro boat and Humminbird electronics? Thanks for your replies.
