I am thinking about purchasing the following but need your opinion.



I found a 2003 TARGA 18 SC for $2,280 w/o motor and I believe it is also needs electronics. It comes with trailr.



The description goes like this

Is this a good deal?



How much would rigging cost on avg? I assume I will need all cables, mounts, etc. I would estimate that the shipping for motor will cost me around 500.



Would it cost less to buy the whole package as shown on tracker website w/merc efi 150?

Looks like you might be able to put a 2003 boat together for around 15 grand. How much for a new Targa with same motor. If it's the same buy new and don't go thru the hassell. If your saving several thousand it might be worth it. You get a warranty with the new though.

The new boat with the merc 150 efi is 22,735 and the optimax (I think opti closer to the yamaha vmax hpdi) is 24,925

Talked to dad and he said no go on the boat

He doesnt feel the deal is worth trailering the boat to SC when we move in the spring. He wants to buy there.

So if anyone is interested go ahead.
