I know that everyone LOVES the Yamamoto Senko and other soft plastics but have any of you tried the crank/jerk/top water baits???

A local Gander Mtn had all of their Gary Yamamoto hard baits for $2.99. They look just the Lucky Craft's that I paid $15+ for last year (which I'm a little dispointed with the quality for the price). For $2.99 I couldn't resist grabbing a few. I got 3 of the topwater baits that look just like the Sammy 115.

What do you guys think? Ever used them?

Thanks,

Marke

I received some from Derek last year. The retail price point is great, but the balance and performance are not what I've found to be close to a Lucky Craft. (Not that I think the LC's warrant such a price.) They remind me of the Fenwick Method series baits that were available years ago. You'll find them in both the Yamamoto and Kinami packaging, and are worth their $3 each. IMHO
