Have a 2005 nitro nx 750 .with 90h.p mercury.wires in voltage regulator rectifier.are burnt.where I bought boat.they had spliced wires before.said regulator was gd.but wires have burnt melted where they spliced again.help.is it the regulator or stator or trigger causing this.tach jumps . voltage gauge jumps
