We, at a young age, would take a truck inner tube, a burlap feed sack, large leather sewing needle, with some heavy twine make a seat in the inner tube, off to the river and with swim fins float all over the river fishing. All types of different types of rod holders and bags for our fish. It was great times. You should have seen the way we carried our tubes, rods/reels and tackle on a bicycle.
