Where is everyone mounting there antenna on the above boat. will post some pics of where I'm thinking about mounting it.
So the first is on the flat section with SS sheet metal screws #14.

The second is on the plastic section next to the window with SS 1/4x20 machine bolts using fender washers and nuts with red lock tight.

I just have a hard time drilling into the aluminum of a brand new boat. The biggest thing is not knowing what is under where you are about to run a drill then four screws after that.

The second spot is where I located my mast but on a different model, mine is a fiberglass 288 Sport, I didn't encounter anything underneath and was able to sneak the cable under the windshield frame to extend it to the radio location just beneath the throttle shift location.

It looks like the mount is adjustable for a vertical application. You might consider mounting it in the Versatrack rail with a mounting plate or adapter. That requires no new holes whatsoever.

That is a great idea, where were you when I posted this? LOL Wish I had thought of that.

Sorry I only visit this site occasionally. Mine was missing the cellphone holder from the factory. When I received the holder I couldn’t bring myself to drill holes in my dash, but it mounted in the versatrack easily!

I’ve used riv nuts for the majority of things I’ve mounted to the gunnels. The aluminum is thick enough that you could just drill some holes and tap them for an antenna mount.
