What is this??

Can anyone shed any light as to what this does? It's on a 2002 Nitro 175 Sport. It says empty and auto on it . It appears to be stuck the empty position. I'm a little leary of trying to force it. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

I think it's a cable operated valve for your livewell. Sometimes they get hard to operate.

cceguy nailed it, I have a 2001 nitro 896 with this switch and it was frozen. I was able to buy a new switch and just wd40 on the connections and it now works great. Mine has three settings though, Fill-Recirc-Empty.
