Went Fishing Today

Had a good time. Nice on the water. Had the same results for the first time out. No bites so this means no fish. Still had a good time. Maybe the fish will be hungry in about three weeks when the water warms up better. Anyone having much luck in this cold weather. Oklahoma City getting ready for more cold weather starting Saturday night.

was going fishing this weekend but now it finally decides to dump a "little" snow and temps in the teens for us warm weather guys and the winds are howling, so no fun until April at least now

I went out to lake Elmer Thomas last weekend. Water temp was in the low 40s, not a single bite. Marked a lot a fish 30' deep but nothing, not even bait fish hit the fish finder in the shallows.

Heading out this morning to lake ellsworth, Know a guy who caught several walleye last weekend to include a 1 at 6 plus pounds.

Will be nice today (68), but have a project boat to work. Sunday pm will start with cold rain, freezing rain, sleet and maybe a little snow.

Didn't catch a thing, fish were marking at 25', tried drop shots no luck, tried some deep dive crank bait trolling, same result. Water temp was 46 degrees. Still had fun, weather is supposed to turn sh!tty tonight .

TNT works also. Take the Game Warden with you, light a stick, give it to him. When he (Game Warden ) tells you that is illegal, ask him if he would like to fish or talk.
