I removed the prop blade on my motorguide X3 digital trolling motor to clean off weeds and fishing line. When I pulled on the fishing line I could feel the bar pull out and now it is still working making an awful and loud noise. I tried to use a rubber mallet to see if it could be knocked back in but had no success. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Put a new pin in. They can bend and create a wobble to the prop. Don't whack anything with a rubber mallet. You don't want to bend the main shaft.
