Due to the popularity of the Minn Kota Ultrex Spot lock system motor replacements, I'm seeing a good number of late model used Fortrex motors for sale on various social media fishing and selling pages. Since I've been using the Fortrex 80 for more than a year now- I can highly recommend it over the older and lesser versions of the 80 lb. motors. If you are thinking of an upgrade and not ready to drop $2,000 plus, I would certainly recommend picking you up a Fortrex that is being replaced. They are oustandingly reliable and tough motors that perform well.
