I have a 1998 700 lx. The trim gage stopped working after being intermittent for a few fishing trips. I would like to know if the little round cylinder attached to the end of hydraulic cylinder rod is the trim sensor. Its got a brown wire with a white stripe and a black ground. Is there any way to check this part to see If It Is the sensor? Any help would be appreciated.
