Can the wire to the transducer be repaired? I accidently cut mine. Don't know if that can be repaired or if I need to buy new. Thanks for the help.
 
you can try. the shield wire sheath and the central line must be sodered. and no shorts. if you can get it done it may work. however the joint will change the signal some.:oops::eek:
 
The easiest way is to use the AIRMAR splice block. It is used to adapt an AIRMAR transducer to a particular sonar brand.
 
Thanks to you both. Not sure how I want to tackle this yet. I'll try something (maybe both suggestions) but really want to verify that this is the problem before I go out and by another new transducer.
