Nice, except for the z boat in the background ;-) j/k

If I caught a fish like that up north here in the frigid tundra, I'd actually smile...

:)

that guy got a great deal on that boat, otherwise he would be in a skeeter..

WOW!! Great looking fish,that weight is about what it takes to win around here,,for 5 fish,hehe.

What swim bait was it since there is a big market of them?.......for being a pond that is pretty big compared to the one's that we have in south Texas

:blink::blink::blink:

I think I would have to call it a day after that - there's no way I could make another cast without backlashing.

he was using a huddleston, and out here, almost everyone throws some type

of swimbait, ms slammers, mission fish, spro, bass trix, osprey, baby e....

probably not considered a pond, small lake is more like it. they plant trout,

the bass munch on them.. that lake pumps out 10+ fish like crazy. i have

caught 2, and my buddy in the pic has caught at least 30 over 10 #'s

:eek:

DAYUM..THAT's a TOAD....I gotta get BPS to open a store there!! LOL:eek::rolleyes::blink:

I'd get a repo mount of that in a heartbeat!!;):D:D

i think that he is planning on a repro.. fish was 29" x 23"

i am heading for that lake right now, the weather is perfect,

a little drizzle....

look for more photo's later today LOL.....:rolleyes:

here is today's handy work...

unfortunately it weighs half of what my pal's fish weighed, gotta love california!

bigger baits LOL... here are the tools, when one of these baits hits

the water, out here we refer to that as 'ringing the dinner bell'

I thought the dinner bell was the reverse beep of the trout stocking truck!

(cant see the pics here at work, so I havent commented)

Mini

Dave,

What's the second one from the left? Armegedon or 3:16 Wake? I haven't been out since I won our club tourny at Pardee. My wife went out on Monday with Alan Fong and put an 8 in the boat with a Maveric swimbait all by herself. She was pretty happy about it. Can't wait to hit Berryessa with the new 6" Hudd.

right on mini, i was at the dock ready to leave at a trout planted lake,

it was crazy to watch. the people fishing the bank all ran over and started

whacking the trout, the bass were next in line !!!

,, from left to right mission fish white, castaic trout, huddie, spro bbz.

could not get out today, the weather was perfect ha ha raining....

Here along the Gulf Coast, I use 3" swim baits 90% of the time. I catch bass, specks, reds, flounder, crappie, & white trout on em.....best bait that has come along in many years. I use 2" for sac-a-lait (crappie), they love em ! kenny

I cant wait to get my hands on the BBZ in the new Perch pattern!
