I am still having issues with the transducer on my 128 giving depth readings when running on plane with my PT175 with the 75 Merc. I had received plenty of support from HBird and have done everything possible, but depth still goes away or shows over 500 feet when on plane above 20 mph. It was pretty darned scary this past weekend when I was fishing the stump filled areas of Columbus. Anyway, I called HBird yesterday and they are sending me a new transducer that they hope will solve the problem. It's a different type and was told it would not show as wide as the one that came with the boat. I'll keep you all posted as to whether or not that solves the problem. If not, I'm going to get in touch with Tracker and have them put a different brand on the bow. I can't live with not knowing the depth when running, especially around here.
