Stepped Hull

HI from Memphis... Nitro owner 2015 Z6. I am frustrated because I want lower transducer for high speed planning. Thinkin of installing on the step near the drain plug or on the underside using a stem pad. Any comments.

you can't do much for the side scan transducer however if you want to read depth while on plane you will have to mount the transducer in the hull on the inside with some epoxy that way it will shoot thru the hull and as far as the side scan it does not read much past 20 mph
