I am trying to decide on whether to mount my spare tire horizontally under the hull, or vertically on the ride side. Any suggestions, disadvantages, advantages, or photos of where to mount and type of mount to use would be appreciated. Thanks, GHPhotography

For me (being handicapped) vertically is the ONLY wait I can deal with it.

Hard to make out the mount, but its just a standard wheel carrier mount from BPS

Although I have a built in 'basket type' spare holder on my trailer, it's too small to use. The spare doesn't fit in it and the keel rides too low. I had to buy a mount that attaches to the tongue of the trailer for my spare. I actually prefer it there anyway. Would be much easier to get to if I have to use it.
