Sobbing in my tackle box

Tonight my boat goes on a canadian fishing trip without me. Being a good son, I am lending it to my father. He has had back surgery and anyone who has spent a week in a cedar strip boat knows the punishment they can dish out. It is going to be a loooooong week.

You may be sobbing, but down the road you will look back and remember the joy this brought your father. It is not often that we are able repay our parents for making us who we are today. So if you're sad, think about the smile you put on your father's face.



Besides, your boat will be back before you know it unless of course, you lost a lot of your father's tools when you were young!! LOL
